Ekaterina Karaglanova, 24 years old, had almost 100,000 followers on Instagram, where she frequently shared personal and travel moments that were received with many positive comments.

In addition, her followers expressed to her the strong resemblance she had to the emblematic actress Audrey Hepburn.

She had recently graduated as a doctor from a Russian university with a specialty in dermatology, and it seemed from her social networks that everything in her life was going perfectly.

However, from one day to the next she stopped publishing. Her last photo was taken on July 22 when she showed an image of her trip to Corfu, Greece.

“In general, to be honest, I don’t like to rest too much. I travel often, but in each country I don’t spend more than 3-5 days. The longest trip of my life was to Israel with my family, when I was 14 years old, then we visited for a whole month and toured the whole country,” wrote Ekaterina in that image.

Last week, her family lost contact with her and added to her disappearance in the networks were worried.

So they asked the man who rented her apartment in Moscow, where she lived, for help in finding out where she was. But what they found was terrifying.

When they entered the house, they saw a suspicious suitcase in the hallway. When they opened it, they discovered Ekaterina’s lifeless body, which had stab wounds, including one in the throat. While the parents quickly called the ambulance, the young woman had already died.

Police told the Russian daily Moskovsky Komsomolets that there was no evidence of a fight in the apartment, and no weapon was found.

The only fact they have is that her ex-boyfriend visited her briefly days after her disappearance, as he was filmed by security cameras.

The police did not give more details, but it was reported that a possible crime of jealousy is one of the lines of investigation.

They also took into account that Karaglanova had recently started a new relationship and had planned a holiday in Holland to celebrate her birthday.

Her photos and videos often included several European places that she portrayed on her travels around the continent.

In addition to her Instagram account, Karaglanov also had a popular travel blog to which thousands of people subscribed.

Her publications numbered almost 3,000 likes and, in addition to portraying landscapes, she also stood out for his outfit.
