First, who is Shane Dawson?

Shane Dawson (born Shane Lee Yaw, July 19, 1988) is an American comedian, actor, author and YouTuber.

He is known for making comedy videos with recurring characters, imitations and parodies of popular music videos.

In August 2013, its main channel was the 33rd largest subscriber to YouTube. Today, with more than 20 million subscribers.

Dawson has expanded its YouTube presence by adding a second channel for Vlogs and its “Ask Shane” series and a third channel using videos taken from its iPhone.

Today, Shane runs two channels on Youtube: ShaneDawson TV, where he mounts short films written by him, inspired by stories of his tragic childhood and adolescence but this time adding his classic and sarcastic humor.

Due to the high cost of production, Dawson is limited to making approximately one short film annually.

His second channel, Shane, is dedicated to all those people who want to see a more casual Shane, trying exotic foods or doing strange experiments.

He mounts videos Monday through Thursday, while on Fridays, CapnDesDes (Destery Moore) takes control of his channel with his “Top 5”.

By August 2018, Dawson has more than 8 million subscribers on its second channel (ShaneDawsonTV) and 18 million subscribers on its first channel, Shane, adding up to more than 36 million subscriptions.3

Wedding bells in the YouTube community

Shane Dawson, 30, with more than 21 million followers on her YouTube channel, surprised her boyfriend three years ago, Ryland Adams, 27, with a proposal that YouTuber revealed on Twitter and Instagram on March 19.

The famous YouTuber knelt down and asked his boyfriend to marry him. Of course, Adams, with nearly 4 million followers on YouTube, said ‘yes’.

Afterwards, the time and place, a viewpoint of a beach and at night, was immortalized with several selfies of the two in affectionate attitude and, of course, with the opportune engagement ring.

“We are engaged! I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you. I’ve never been happier in my whole life,” wrote the couple, who received countless congratulations from social networks.

Shane’s timing for the proposal was no coincidence and he offered Ryland a diamond ring on the same day they were in their third year as a couple.

“Ryland, thank you for making the last 3 years the happiest of my life.

Thank you for sleeping next to me even though I sweat through the sheets.

Thank you for making me smile and reminding me how loved I am in real life,” dedicated, among other things, the famous content creator.
